The Vault — Your Physical Portfolio

Gold Live shows prices; Gold Tracker helps you manage what you own. The Vault is a full precious metals portfolio tracker: add each coin, bar, or round with the price you paid, the weight, and the date. Gold Tracker calculates your average cost per ounce, tracks unrealized gain or loss against the live spot price, and updates in real time across gold, silver, platinum, and palladium.

Every purchase is stored as a separate lot, so you can see exactly what you paid for each item and when. If you bought gold in Canadian dollars or euros, Gold Tracker tracks the FX gain or loss separately from the metal price movement, so you can see how much of the return came from the metal and how much came from currency changes. When you sell, the app records the realized profit or loss and keeps a full history. Gold Live does not have a comparable portfolio tool.

Melt Value Calculators

If you buy or sell scrap gold, trade jewelry, or work in a pawn shop, melt value is the number that matters. Gold Tracker has dedicated calculators for gold (8K through 24K), silver (.925, .999, and custom purities), platinum, and palladium. Enter a weight in troy ounces, grams, kilograms, or pennyweights and the calculator returns the melt value at the current spot price in your chosen currency.
